Deliveries

Delivery & Collection Policy

This Delivery & Collection Policy explains how Maltipoo Breeders UK handles the transition of our puppies to their new families. Our priority is the safety and comfort of the dog; therefore, we do not ship puppies via cargo or standard couriers.

1. Collection from Our Home (Preferred)

We strongly encourage all new owners to collect their puppy in person from our home in the UK.

Collecting in person allows you to:

  • Meet the puppy's mother and see the environment where they were raised.
  • Receive a full handover, including feeding advice and grooming demonstrations.
  • Review all health paperwork and microchip documents together.

Collection dates are arranged once the puppy has received their final vet check and is ready to leave (usually at 8 weeks of age).

2. Personal Delivery / Meeting

We understand that travelling to us is not always possible. In certain circumstances, we may be able to drive the puppy to meet you part-way or deliver them directly to your home.

This service depends on our availability and the distance required. Costs for fuel and time will be agreed upon in advance.

3. Professional Pet Chaperones

If we cannot deliver the puppy ourselves, we only release puppies to vetted, professional pet chaperones (Pet Nannies) who travel with the puppy in the cabin of a vehicle or train.

We strictly do NOT use:

  • Commercial cargo shipping.
  • Unattended van couriers who transport multiple dogs from different sources.

Costs & Payment

Delivery costs are not included in the puppy adoption fee. Any costs associated with travel or a pet chaperone must be paid directly to the service provider or agreed with us prior to departure.

Welfare First Approach

We reserve the right to delay collection or delivery if:

  • The puppy is not well enough to travel (e.g., tummy upset).
  • Weather conditions are dangerous (e.g., extreme heat or snow).
  • We feel the transport arrangement is unsafe.

Identification at Handover

To prevent fraud and ensure the puppy is going to the correct person, we may ask to see a photo ID that matches the details on the reservation agreement upon collection or delivery.
