Our 1-Year Health Guarantee

At Maltipoo Breeders UK, we stand behind the quality and health of every puppy we raise. We are not just selling a pet; we are providing a new family member. This document outlines our commitment to you and your new puppy.

1. The "Healthy Puppy" Promise (72 Hours)

Your puppy will leave our home having been fully checked by a licensed veterinarian. However, for your peace of mind, we grant you a 72-hour period (3 working days) from the time of collection to have the puppy examined by your own vet.

If your veterinarian finds a life-threatening illness or a serious congenital defect during this period, you may return the puppy for a full refund or a replacement (subject to availability), provided you supply a signed written report from the vet.

2. 1-Year Genetic Health Guarantee

We strive to breed only the healthiest dogs. We guarantee our puppies against fatal or severely life-altering genetic defects (specifically those common to Maltese and Poodles) until the puppy reaches one year of age.

If a hereditary condition is diagnosed within this first year that severely impacts the dog's quality of life, we will offer a replacement puppy or a refund of the purchase price (minus vet costs), upon review of veterinary reports.

3. What Your Puppy Comes With

Every puppy leaves our care with:

• A signed Veterinary Health Certificate.
• Age-appropriate vaccinations (usually the first set).
• Microchip registration documents.
• Up-to-date worming and flea treatment records.

4. What This Guarantee Does Not Cover

As a breeder, we cannot control the environment once the puppy leaves our home. Therefore, this guarantee does not cover:

• Common conditions such as worms, ear mites, or kennel cough (which can be picked up anywhere).
• Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) caused by the owner missing feedings.
• Physical injury or accidents (e.g., dropping the puppy).
• Cosmetic changes like coat colour fading or exact adult size.

5. Buyer Responsibilities

To keep this guarantee valid, you must:

• Take your puppy to a licensed vet for a wellness check within 3 working days of pickup.
• Keep up with all required booster vaccinations and vet exams.
• Feed a high-quality diet appropriate for a small breed puppy.

6. Returns & Rehoming

We never want one of our dogs to end up in a shelter. If for any reason you can no longer keep your Maltipoo, you must contact us first. We will always take the puppy back or assist you in rehoming them responsibly.
